storyboard
This page contains the two drafts of my storyboard, which both include a shot plan. It also holds screen shots from my final film as a comparison of how I originally wanted my film to look and how it does now.
A storyboard and shot plan is used to help the director visualise how each shot in their film should look and how it should be built with camera angles.

21st November Draft One
This draft, whilst I really enjoyed the personal touch of hand drawing each shot. After feedback from my teacher it became clear that the detail was lacking and it was not entirely accurate. Each shot was also not numbered and the brief description that each shot requires was lacking. I also had left out the first eight shots as they have no location, a they are just extreme close ups. Even though they do not have a set location they still needed to be included as an outline for the film.
4th December Draft Two.
In my second draft I added real photographs of the location as it was a lot simpler to understand. It also gives a much more realistic view of what the camera angle will portray. This ended up as my final draft of a story board as it was easy to understand and had all the shots I intended to use.
Screen shots from film
Whilst I used my story board as an inspiration for all of my shots, and did shoot all mentions above (for instance the close up on Daniels face), it was interesting for me to compare how I had planned my film and how it ended as a final product. I believe that while the angle slightly changed and some shots were lost in the editing process my final product is remarkably similar to the original plans for the film.
