First Photograph
I took this photo on the day of shooting with a iPhone. I then used the editing app 'pixlromatic'. On the effect 'Fern' which brought out the contrast in each of the props, which I felt was an interesting impression.
The actual composition of the photograph I chose with influence from a shot from the film itself. However I wanted a to have a posed photograph, where at least one of the characters is looking directly into the camera. I felt this made a connection to the audience, and when looking at my research poster Moonrise Kingdom, where the entire cast is staring intimately towards the audience. I felt the audience I will direct this poster for is more the comedy section of the target audience, due to the visual codes of the actors.

Second Photograph
This photo was again taken on the day of shooting, to keep continuity of costume and set. Just as the first I used an iPhone to take the photograph and used the 'pixlromatic' on the 'Enhance' effect. This allowed the artificial studio light in the centre of the image to become more predominant and warmed the image as a whole.
The composition of the photograph was again influenced by a shot in the film itself, yet with a more posed inflection. This photograph is more of an action shot as I believe it illustrates the essence of the film with its confusion and humour. I took more inspiration from my research film poster, Shifter, as it communicated the genre of the film along with interesting the audience into the action. I felt the audience I will direct this poster for is more the action/horror section of the target audience, due to the visual codes of the actors.
